NFL Games Today

This week’s NFL schedule is jam-packed with exciting games. Three games are scheduled for the afternoon and four are set for prime time. Two late-game windows feature the Chargers and Cowboys. Both teams are coming off impressive wins. In the early games, the Broncos and Bills did not play most of their starters. The Chiefs, meanwhile, gave Josh Allen a chance to make a few key throws.

NFL Network will feature four games on Saturday, August 13. Chicago Bears take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Soldier Field. At 4 p.m. ET, the Indianapolis Colts will play the Buffalo Bills. In the late afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. And at 6:15 p.m., the Dallas Cowboys take on the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.

After the preseason, Carson Wentz is expected to start his first game as a starter. His rapport with receivers is building, but there is a lot of competition in the secondary. The Chiefs will also have competition at the defensive tackle position. And rookie receiver Sky Moore will get a chance to make his NFL debut. With this game’s high-profile matchup, NFL fans should be entertained by a good game.

There are still eight playoff berths up for grabs. And the early afternoon AFC games are chock-full of playoff implications. Washington and the Eagles square off in a meeting for the second time in 12 days. The Ravens have a long losing streak. With all the action, the preseason is a must-watch for avid football fans. With so much on the line, it’s easy to see why the NFL is such a popular event in the American sporting world.
